Lab
Social Cognitive Development Laboratory
The laboratory uses event-related potentials in electrophysiology as a research tool to investigate social cognitive development. The research topics include the emotional understanding of vocabulary and body imagery, empathic thinking, and correlation with personality traits.
In addition to studying the general development of children and adolescents, we also investigate the similarities and differences in the cognitive understanding of high-functioning autistic individuals. We hope to establish a developmental model of social emotion cognition that can be used as a reference for clinical diagnosis or teaching in the future.
Currently, the lab welcomes graduate students and university students.
