Interdisciplinary Credit Programs

The Department of Psychology emphasizes interdisciplinary integration. Students enrolling in Academic Year 113 (2024) or later may complete any on-campus Credit Program or Micro-Program to satisfy graduation requirements.

Students enrolled prior to Academic Year 113 must complete one of the following specific credit programs: "Program in Health Care for an Aging Society," "Program in Marketing Management," "Program in Child Development and Early Intervention," "Program in Art Therapy," or "Micro-program in Art Therapy."

 

Program in Health Care for an Aging Society

Addressing the needs of a super-aged society, this credit program integrates faculty from Medical Sociology, Nursing, Psychology, Physical Therapy, and Occupational Therapy. The curriculum covers physiological health, psychological adaptation, and social care for the elderly, focusing on cultivating students' interdisciplinary collaborative vision to solve complex health issues in an aging society with a holistic perspective.
